A suitable 5L jerry can machine should be selected from the product specification and production plan. Resin, handle design, bottle weight, output and automation scope all affect the final configuration.
Single or double station
Single-station equipment suits flexible production and lower output requirements. Double-station configurations increase utilization of the extrusion system and are often preferred for stable, higher-volume production.
Match the extrusion system
Screw size and plasticizing capacity must support the resin and shot weight without creating excessive residence time. The die head should provide repeatable parison distribution for the container geometry.
Consider downstream automation
Deflashing, conveying, leak testing and labeling can be integrated according to the plant layout. Evaluating the complete line early prevents bottlenecks after the molding process.
