Factory acceptance and site acceptance answer different questions. Factory acceptance is the check before the machine leaves Tongda. Site acceptance is what you agree to verify after the machine is installed in your plant. Payment for a Tongda machine is 30% in advance and 70% before shipment.
The all-electric blow molding acceptance checklist is the longer list for an all-electric project. This page is the general extrusion blow molding statement of what Tongda’s factory acceptance covers, and how payment is split.
Factory acceptance and site acceptance
Factory acceptance (often called FAT) is run on the machines the customer is buying, before shipment. Site acceptance (often called SAT) is on the buyer’s floor. Utilities, installation and any downstream equipment at the plant can differ from the factory trial, so a site test is defined in that project’s scope. It is not the same event as the factory test.
Have the plant utilities ready before a site visit. Plant utilities planning explains what to confirm, without a published power or air table.
What Tongda’s factory acceptance covers
For the machines the customer purchases, factory acceptance covers:
- machine inspection and confirmation
- running-stability confirmation
- mold confirmation
- product confirmation
Those four checks are the standard scope. A written record should name the machine, the mold and the product that were actually confirmed.
Payment
Payment is 30% in advance and 70% before shipment. This page does not add a further percentage after site acceptance. The 70% is due before the machine ships.
What a stable run means
How long the machine must run, or how many cycles count as a stable run, is agreed case by case. Tongda does not publish a fixed number of hours or cycles. Ask for the run length to be written into the order if you need one.
If parts crack or leak at the trial
Product confirmation is the place to record cracks, leaks and other defects you can see on the containers from that trial. Corner cracks are a product result to note and discuss, not a reason to assume a single cause. The HS-30L chemical drum project is one published drum project. It does not set a leak or drop limit for every machine.
Send the product drawing and the acceptance points you need through the contact page. Warranty terms are on warranty, spare parts and after-sales.
